This restaurant was recommended by a local person. I had a beef soup, it was so nice in the rainy afternoon. And I asked the waiter for a Slovenian sausage, which was good but not beyond my expectations. Anyway it was a good meal and the service was quick and kind.

One of the few restaurants that really has a soul...
The food is really excellent, when we come to Lj we must eat there.
But I have to praise the calf's cheeks, mmmm it's top top...
The waiters are friendly, cultured, and this knowledge is noticeable.
The ambience is something special.

Hrana je res odlicna, kadar prideva v Lj obvezno greva tam jest.
Moram pa pohvalut telecja licka, mmmm ma top top…
Natakarji prijazni, kulturni, se pa opazi to znanje.
Ambijent je nekaj posebnega.

Tasty traditional Slovenian food. We went there twice during a short stay in Ljubjana - I haven’t found better Slovenian food there.

I visited for lunch with friends. It was really awesome. Service was very good and delicious food.
Bear goulash, deer fillet and pumpkin soup are notable ones.

I had a great meal there with good local red wine. The place is spacious and cozy, the service is fast and attentive, and the dishes are excellent. Top location on a main street. Portions are big and prices are fair. Visited by many foreigners as well as locals.

A hidden diamond in the city. The staff was super friendly and supportive. On top of that the food was absolutely delicious. We had a starter, a main course and desserts. All of them were delicious! In the entrance hall you can learn more about the restaurant’s history, which further emphasized the specialty of the place. This is easily our most favorite restaurant in the city. Would definitely come back!
